Bolton Museum Opens It's DoorsDate: 18 December, 2018 | Author: Administrator
As part of Bolton's multi-million-pound Egyptian Gallery project, Structures Group carried out extensive refurbishment works to the museum's internal envelope. Including internal structural alterations and terrazzo repairs on the building’s front façade. We're a highly versatile refurbishment contractor who can undertake the most varied scopes of work - even the installation of anchorage points to display dinosaur bones at one of the Museum's many recently refurbished exhibitions!
We enjoy challenging projects and boast a successful portfolio of heritage and restoration works throughout the North-West and across the UK. Following on from the successful handover of The Bolton Museum project, we are since pleased to have received a letter of recognition from Willmott Dixon Construction as one of their category A sub-contractor's - scoring an average of 9/10 on our supply-chain partner performance review – with particular recognition for the performance and commitment of our site team that contributed massively to the overall success of the project.
The work we did at Bolton Museum stands testament to the level of quality, commitment and diversity of workmanship we can achieve as key project sub-contractors. With longstanding supply chain partners Willmott Dixon, on behalf of the entire Structures Team it was a pleasure to be a part of making the re-opening of Bolton Museum possible!
The revamped museum, now ready and open for the Egyptian exhibition has the capacity to hold more than 2000 historic artifacts on display. For more information on the Egyptian exhibition at Bolton Museum please go to Bolton Councils library and museum services web page.
