Supporting Local Communities

At WJ Structures, we are dedicated to giving our unconditional support to local communities- our company ethos is to make sure we try our best to give something back in the hopes of making a positive impact to the world around us.

Our contributions to local communities began with funding local football teams as part of our sports sponsorship programme. Our sports sponsorship programme extends its support to several local football teams in our surrounding areas including Pennington FC, Leigh Athletic, Atherton FC, FC Dynamite and our newest addition FC Ormskirk.

We also pledge our skills & services to local community projects including our latest venture in helping to procure Manchester's 'Bee in the City' project. You can read more about our contributions to the 'Bee in the City' project on our projects page.

We are always looking to develop our patronage in the best ways we can. Please get in touch if you feel your project could use our support.

Take a look at some of the other ways we have contributed below.

We supported this Year 5 class in gathering sponsors to raise money and awareness of autism. Well done to the 25 children involved on raising a huge £838 for the National Autistic Society!

We have sponsored many different local football teams including Pennington FC, Atherton Town and Leigh Athletic.

We took part in a local primary schools ‘Aspirations Day’, where children opted to take part in short seminars delivered by some of our operatives, with the aim of inspiring the future generation of construction workers. We spent time answering children’s questions about jobs in construction and allowed them to practice building their own brick walls.

We have sponsored a number of runners in 10k events and marathons across the country, raising money for charities such as St. Ann’s Hospice, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Multiple Sclerosis Society.

We sponsored the Challenge Cup tie match ball this season between Leigh Centurions and Salford Reds. Team Structures attended the match to support their local team

We supported a project at Crumpsall Primary School in association with Bowmer and Kirkland, making playground alterations, making it a safer, more aesthetically pleasing environment for the children to learn and play.

I wanted to thank you and your teams for the amazing work you have done over the holidays. The staff, children and their families are very impressed with the new changes and I can't tell you enough the difference it will make to our teaching and the children's learning - Rachel, EYFS leader
